A bug in Ubiquiti Protect version 2.11.21 causing video playback to fail with the error: We're unable to complete your request. this is caused by a bug in this version that removes the system language.

To fix this issue, login to your protect interface and follow the steps:

1. Click on the gear in the bottom left

2. Click on system

3. Set the system language to your preferred language


This happens inside the protect app not in the OS settings!

If you have a user that is restricted as view only, you need to change permissions for that user so they can change their language
